TEAM TRAINING AND INTER-DOJO JKA LEAGUE SCHEDULE

These classes are open to all CJKF Ontario Dojo Members who would like to experience JKA competition training as well as those getting ready for their next upcoming exam.

Classes will now be combined with adults and juniors and will be from 9:00 am - 10:30 am

All classes will be conducted by Sensei Ed Leung, 6th Dan and Assisted by Sensei Ray and Sensei Stan Tio, 5th Dan. Any Head Dojo Instructors are also welcome to assist.

The dates are:

Team Training suspended until further notice.

Unless you are a member of the JKA of Mississauga Dojo (WCKS), the cost for each class will be $5.  Those from outside the CJKF wanting to train during these times must first speak to Sensei Ray and the cost will be $10 per class.

Sensei Ed Leung, 6th Dan - 2 time JKA World Cup Team Kata Bronze Medallist
                                              - Over 35 years of karate training experience
 
Sensei Ray Tio, 5th Dan - 4 time ISKF/JKA Pan-American Kata Champion
                                              - Placed 5th in the World - Individual Kata
 
Sensei Stan Tio, 5th Dan - 6 time National Kumite Champion
                                                - Placed top 8 in the World - Individual Kata

Inter-Dojo JKA League

New for 2010!
 
On March 21st 2010, the inaugural season of The Inter-Dojo JKA Karate League between CJKF dojos will commence.
 
Similar to a season of sports such as soccer, or hockey, these "league matches" will take place at this dojo one Sunday of every month (not including summer months June-August) from 10am to approx 12:30pm. 
 
Results from each "league match" will be accounted for and tabulated at the end of each season. At the end of the season trophies will be handed out to the top 3 individuals of each division as well as dojo T-shirts for every participant. 
 
We will also be planning an end of season banquet dinner as well. The events will be Individual Kata and Individual Kumite only, no Team Kata event. However, we will still have the Team Kata event at our Provincial Tournament in May. This league is only open to CJKF brown and blackbelts.
 
The cost for each participant is $25 for the entire season (payable to Peel JKA).
